A highly sophisticated multi-purpose facility is truly a
world-class meeting venue.
The
Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) was
officially opened by Their Majesties King Bhumibol Adulyadej
and Queen Sirikit late in the afternoon of Thursday 29
August 1991. The Center's name honors Her Majesty's 60th
birthday, which falls on August 1992 and marks her
completion of an auspicious fifth twelve-year cycle.
Their Majesties are deeply revered by all Thai citizens, and
share and abiding interest in all aspects of social
development, particularly in rural areas. Her Majesty lends
her prestige and support to numerous charitable and
self-help organizations around the Kingdom, and her efforts
have been widely honored internationally.
The Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, a highly
sophisticated multi-purpose facility, is truly a world-class
meeting venue. A triumph of modern Thai architecture, QSNCC
was specifically designed to meet the almost limitless
demands of today's meeting planners and exhibition
organizers.
With a special lakeside setting in the heart of the fastest
growing business and financial zone of Bangkok, QSNCC has
easy access to the finest hotels in the city. Its layout has
many of the attributes of a large traditional Thai
structure, but fully complies with the one stop,
full-service requirements of the world's most advanced
meeting facilities.
The key areas of the Center are a partitioned Plenary Hall
that can accommodate up to 5,000 people; exhibition, display
and office areas covering 35,000 square meters capable of
housing hundreds of trade booths and smaller deluxe meeting
and seminar rooms suitable of meeting from 10 to 450 people.
The Center offers a full range of support services. Food and
beverage are presented in a number of ways including a
full-service international restaurant, a coffee shop,
western and Asian fast food areas and banquet facilities for
over 8,000. Medical, post and banking facilities are
available in the Center as well as a full business center.
As you would expect from a world-class Center, QSNCC is
equipped to provide state-of-the-art technical services for
all functions. Among these services are video and
teleconferencing, tele-promoting and simultaneous
translation services, LCD and video projection and massive
1,000 International Direct Dial telephone system.
In addition to all of this, N.C.C. Management & Development
Co., Ltd. offers one stop shopping for all function held at
QSNCC and other venues. Both Exhibition and Convention
organizing teams at N.C.C. offer complete organizing
services for conventions and conferences, exhibitions and
trade shows, product launching, gala banquets and special
events.
